There are a whole bunch or great keyboard shortcuts in ArchiCAD which will help you to model as fast as you can think. To see a list of them all, go to Options > Work Environment > Keyboard Shortcuts, and then click on the Show Shortcut list in Browser button at the bottom of the screen.
