To create a stair with an L-shaped landing, you need to add multiple pieces of landing together.

First, choose the Cadimage Stair Component from the Cadimage Library.

In the Info Box, set the reference edge to one side or the other, or to the stair center. This is somewhat like the reference edge of a wall. (If you plan to create a square landing, you should choose a reference edge that will run along the outside edge of the landing, or along the stair center).

Next, click and stretch to place a flight.

Now it’s time to create the L-shaped landing. Choose the Landing option in the Info Box, and click to indicate the start and end points of the first (straight) section of the landing.

Click again to indicate the start and and points of a second section of landing. The two sections of landing will merge to form an L-shaped landing.

Finally choose the Flight option in the Info Box, and click to indicate the start and end points of the top flight.

Remember to Assemble the stair once you’ve finished editing it.
