ArchiCAD, ArchiCAD 16, Tip of the Day

If you have ever wanted to split an object it can be easily done with the Objective tool that is available along with the Cadimage range of tools

For example, take a standard ArchiCAD chair then go to OBjECTiVE>Tools>Split

Ibjective commands

You can then modify the element however you like far beyond the limited settings with the object:

Split chair

All of this is even undo-able as you can choose ‘Repair Object’ from the same menu

Hi,
I had a look for this when the tip first came out and started to wonder if it was an early April fools joke. I couldn’t find the tool even in the Cadimage Archicad 16 template. Does this actually exist and if so where is it to be found?
Cheers, Eddie
