To set the background fill and pen colour for a Cadimage Door or Window. Open the Settings dialog, and in the Wall Opening Symbol page, change the Background Fill settings. Set the fill type and pens.

Lose the Boundaries (on Details and Worksheets!)

How often do you create a Detail or Worksheet and then find you have to delete the boundary that appears?  And then again each time the view updates!  Personally, I do it a lot until I remember to go and turn the function off in the Work Environment!

Slowness in 2D window

If you are experiencing slowness in the 2D window, turning OFF 2D Drawing Hardware Acceleration might be helpful. Go to Options>Work environment>Advanced Redraw options..>turn OFF the 2D Drawing Hardware Acceleration

Speed up your Project

Use 2D symbols for complex objects (cars, trees, plumbing fittings, people etc) where possible in order to reduce the complexity of your model.  Most 2D symbols have the ability to set Top, Side, Front or Rear views.
