Elevation dimension

If you are placing dimensions in your section/elevation, you may have to change the default settings for the dimension tool to use the right ‘Elevation dimension’ symbol. A non perpendicular grid line in your Section/Elevation

If you have walls with different angles, sometimes you will want to see the grids in your Elevation/Section. If the grids are not perpendicular to the Elevation line, the grids won’t show at first instance.   Now, you can go to the Elevation/Section settings > Grid Tool and select ‘Show non perpendicular Grid Elements’.

Moving the Elevation Marker

You can move the elevation Marker Head independantly of the elevation line.  Select the elevation line, click the black hotspot in the center of the marker head, from the Pet Palette select Move Elevation Marker and choose your new position.

Removing the Elevation Marker Range

To turn off the plan display of your elevation range (and leave only the marker) go to View > On-Screen View Options and uncheck Marker Range.
