Within Publisher, if you create a folder first, THEN place your layouts into that, if you need to change your output format you only have to change the Folder settings, not each individual Layout.
To set your Save location in Publisher simply select the Publisher Set button at the top right of the Organizer – Publisher Dialog box, then select your specific publisher set, hit the Publishing Properties button at the bottom left and browse for your desired folder.
If you find that the file Format button is greyed out within the Publisher Set window, be sure to select either the Book or at least one layout to be printed.
To create a single PDF file from the Publisher, create a folder in your publisher set, then place your individual sheets into that folder, select the folder and set the publishing properties to PDF and select Merge to one PDF file from the bottom of the Format section.
