Match (update) Surface Settings from other Engine

If you are editing a Surface whether you are making the changes in CineRender or Internal Engine, you can easily resolve the display of both surface settings to display in a similar way by matching the properties. So click the Match Settings button:

Quick way to edit Composite settings

To the Toolbox settings…

Sometimes it is necessary to change the settings of your Toolbox… for example to add extra Tools or change the order they appear in.  To do this you have to go to the Work Environment settings and remember the following path:  Options> Work Environment> Toolbox… …unless you know the shortcut!

Setting up your mesh

Before we start to setup our mesh, we need to know what height to set it out to.  Have a look at your Surveyors information and find the lowest height supplied.  In my example below the lowest height contour is 50.5m As a rule of thumb, I always round down to the nearest whole number.
