Editing switch wiring (2-Way Switch)

Extending the Wall Covering below wall base.

Custom Angle 3D cutaway

You can use the 3D cutaway function to create a custom 3D cut plane in any direction Just turn on the 3D cutaway symbol and click the arrow to the right to select the Custom Plane option. Then hover the cursor to the element you want the cut plane to snap to.

Hide Doors and Windows in 3D

If you want to hide doors or windows in your 3D model bacause you may want to save the 3D model as an STL file for 3D printing or render a simple model, you can just turn their display off. Go to View>Elements in 3D View> Filter and cut Elements in 3D> Elements to Show

Building Material Cut Fill

If you are detailing in ArchiCAD 17 or newer and are using the fill tool, you  have four options to use different fill types, Drafting Fills, Cover Fills, Cut Fills and the latest addition ‘Cut Fills- Building Materials’, that will use the same fill assigned to the building material.

Doors and windows pivot line
