What is my licence number?

Sometimes you need to know your licence number or the build number of ArchiCAD you are running (this is important information to provide when you log a support ticket for example). This information, and more, is available inside ArchiCAD by going to Help> Licence Information… Here is a typical example:


Clean Wall & Beam Intersection

We all love how wall intersections clean up in each corner. But what if have a straight wall and would like to check if you have more than one wall there?   You can turn off the wall intersection in the command menu: Veiw>On-Screen view options> Clear Wall & Beam Intersections.

Editing switch wiring (2-Way Switch)

If you place a Cadimage Switch object using the Electrical tool. You may change ‘manually’ the switch connection to: Single switch 2-Way switch Intermediate For ARCHICAD 20 go to the Cadimage Switch settings   For ARCHICAD 19 Just go to the settings> Symbol>Specification>Display settings:

Flip Covering

Include or exclude Scales in Layout autotext

If you want to include or exclude the scale of a drawing in the Layout autotext for Scale You can select the Settings of the drawing and go to Include Scale in Auto Text Indexes.

Cadimage Profile icons in the Toolbox (Work Environment)

Wall Coverings below openings

When you place a Wall Covering on a Wall with Openings set at the base of the wall (0mm / 0″) you may see some problems.  If the Covering is not configured correctly, the Cladding will fail to extend below the Openings. 31   In the example above, the left opening has no cladding below,
